The Haycock family treasure chest
Designed for the home of a London architect, the challenge was to be sympathetic to the white minimalist interior and yet produce an enduring piece that will enhance the family home of the future.
Oak exudes these timeless qualities. Combined with subtle detailling and exposed joinery the chest has a strong yet unassuming presence that gives nothing away of the treasures that lie secure within.
The chest was specifically designed to hold the clients' wedding albums with the capacity to add the records and mementos of their growing family.
The oak lined interior contains three drawers and a removable box with cedarwood bottoms.
