The Waverley bed
Named after the paddle steamer that comes to visit these shores in the Summer months.
The bed has an assymetrical wave design to reflect the proximity of the sea to the client's home. An alternative take on the water bed which we hope will gently rock her to sleep rather than induce full blown seasickness.
A complex brief required the bed to demountable, low level and with integrated storage.
The bed is made of beautifully figured Gower oak and as such has only travelled about 5 miles in 200 years.
A truely ecological alternative...
