The Cliftonwood console table
Made for a discerning Bristol based client. The challenge was to produce a piece to compliment the entrance hall of a Victorian Gothic Clifton townhouse whilst keeping it simple enough to allow the richly figured quarter-cut Welsh oak to speak for itself. Hand-cut dovetailled drawers are a hidden extravagence.
